Edward Dębicki – A Leader with a Mission
For 70 years, Edward Dębicki, the founder and artistic director of Terno, has dedicated himself to preserving Romani culture from commercialization and mediocrity. His passion and artistry have earned him numerous awards, including the Gold Medal for Merit to Culture – Gloria Artis, Poland’s highest cultural distinction, awarded by the Minister of Culture and National Heritage. Edward Dębicki is the only Romani artist in Poland to receive this prestigious honor.
